Experienced Bookkeeper or Accountant to Create Complete 8-Hour Bookkeeping Course

We pay 300 USD per hour of final produced content. Instructor must be a native English speaker. We are creating a complete 8-hour bookkeeping course that teaches students how bookkeeping works in real businesses. The course should take students from beginner level to being able to understand and perform practical bookkeeping tasks for small businesses. We are looking for an experienced bookkeeper, accountant, or finance professional to collaborate with us to build this course. The instructor should have strong practical experience with bookkeeping, accounting, small business finance, or working with real business financial records. Certifications such as Certified Bookkeeper, CPA, EA, accounting degree, QuickBooks ProAdvisor, Xero Advisor, or similar credentials are a plus, but practical experience and teaching ability are the most important factors. The instructor will create the course structure, record clear and engaging video lessons, and develop practical exercises, examples, and scenarios that help students understand bookkeeping in real business situations. The course should cover the core concepts, workflows, and practical responsibilities involved in bookkeeping for real businesses. It should help beginners understand how business transactions are recorded, organized, reviewed, and turned into useful financial information. The instructor should propose a complete course structure that covers the most important bookkeeping topics, practical examples, common beginner mistakes, and real-world workflows a bookkeeper, business owner, or finance professional would need to understand. The course should include hands-on examples and practical business scenarios, such as setting up a sample company’s books, recording sales and expenses, categorizing transactions, handling customer and vendor activity, reconciling a bank account, reviewing financial reports, identifying errors, and explaining how bookkeepers support day-to-day business financial management. The course should be software-neutral where possible, focusing on bookkeeping principles and workflows that apply across different accounting systems. However, examples may reference common tools such as QuickBooks Online, Xero, spreadsheets, or other bookkeeping software where useful. The instructor will also be responsible for creating all supporting materials, including example files, slides, checklists, exercises, quizzes, templates, practice transactions, sample reports, and any other resources that help students follow along and practice effectively. If slides or visual explanations are needed for certain lessons, the instructor will be responsible for creating them as part of the course production. The instructor will also be responsible for delivering the final edited course videos, including clean cuts, audio cleanup, removal of mistakes or long pauses, screen recording edits, basic on-screen callouts where needed, and exporting the lessons in a polished, ready-to-publish format. The instructor must have professional filming equipment with a high quality camera and microphone, and be comfortable on camera with excellent communication skills. Please include your bookkeeping, accounting, or finance background, any relevant certifications, teaching or training experience, examples of previous course recordings, tutorials, webinars, or similar training content, and confirmation that you can deliver the final edited course videos.
