Financial Management Advisor (Internal Consultant)

Remote Financial Management Advisor (Internal Consultant) We are seeking an experienced Financial Management Advisor to provide financial guidance and support to both company leadership and employees. This role will help improve the financial health of the organization through budgeting, financial planning, cost management, and operational financial analysis while also supporting employee financial wellness through education, coaching, and financial management guidance. The advisor will work closely with leadership to strengthen company financial performance and with employees to help them develop practical financial skills that contribute to long-term financial stability and success. The ideal candidate has experience in financial management, budgeting, financial education, and advisory services, along with strong interpersonal and communication skills. Key Responsibilities - Organizational Financial Advisory - Advise company leadership on budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning. - Analyze financial performance and provide recommendations to improve profitability and efficiency. - Assist with cash flow management and operational budgeting. - Support strategic business planning and financial decision-making. - Develop financial reports, dashboards, and performance metrics. - Identify cost-saving opportunities and operational efficiencies. - Employee Financial Wellness & Education - Provide financial wellness guidance to employees on a one-on-one and group basis. - Conduct financial literacy workshops and training sessions. - Educate employees on budgeting, saving, debt management, and financial goal setting. - Develop financial wellness resources, guides, and educational materials. - Assist employees in creating personal financial plans and budgets. - Promote financial awareness and responsible financial management practices throughout the organization. Program Development - Design and implement employee financial wellness initiatives. - Measure and report on the effectiveness of financial wellness programs. - Collaborate with Human Resources and leadership to identify employee needs and opportunities for support. - Recommend tools, resources, and programs that improve employee financial well-being. Financial Analysis & Reporting - Prepare financial assessments and recommendations for leadership. - Analyze financial trends and identify risks and opportunities. - Develop financial forecasts and planning models. - Maintain confidentiality of financial and employee information. Required Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field. - Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial management, financial planning, financial counseling, advisory services, or related fields. - Experience providing financial guidance to individuals and organizations. - Strong understanding of budgeting, cash flow management, and financial planning. - Excellent presentation, coaching, and communication skills. - Ability to explain financial concepts to individuals with varying levels of financial knowledge. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Ability to pass a background check.
