About FltrLnk FltrLnk is an emerging discovery platform that helps users discover restaurants, activities, nightlife, services, businesses, and people around them. We’re beginning our growth across Texas college campuses, with Texas Tech as our initial launch market before expanding throughout Texas and eventually nationwide. As our user base grows, we’re building the advertising side of the platform to help businesses connect with college students and young professionals through targeted digital advertising opportunities. We’re looking for an experienced sales professional to help build that foundation. About the Role This is not a typical appointment-setting position. We’re looking for someone who can become a long-term sales partner and help build our advertising sales pipeline from the ground up. Initially, your primary responsibility will be identifying qualified businesses, generating interest, and booking meetings with decision-makers. Depending on your experience and performance, the role can evolve into helping close deals, manage advertiser relationships, and build our advertising sales organization. What You’ll Be Selling FltrLnk offers advertising opportunities to businesses looking to reach college students and local communities. Examples include: * Restaurant advertising * Coffee shop advertising * Apartment community advertising * Fitness center advertising * Entertainment venue advertising * Retail advertising * Service business advertising * Regional business advertising * National brand advertising Responsibilities * Research and build prospect lists * Identify business owners, general managers, marketing managers, and regional decision-makers * Conduct outbound cold calling * Conduct cold email outreach * Conduct LinkedIn outreach when appropriate * Qualify prospective advertisers * Book meetings directly onto the founder’s calendar * Maintain CRM records * Follow structured follow-up sequences * Provide weekly activity and pipeline reports * Help refine messaging and outreach strategies Ideal Background We’re especially interested in candidates with experience in one or more of the following: * Advertising sales * Digital advertising * Media sales * Sponsorship sales * Merchant acquisition * Restaurant partnerships * Yelp * Groupon * DoorDash * Uber Eats * Toast * Square * Local business development * Franchise sales * Business development * Appointment setting * Cold calling * Sales development Experience selling directly to local businesses is a major plus. Potential compensation may include: * Monthly retainer * Hourly compensation * Performance bonuses * Commission * Long-term growth opportunities We’re looking for someone interested in building a long-term relationship rather than simply completing a short-term project.
