Freelance FOIA Researcher Needed – Police Bodycam Footage (Homicide/OIS Incidents) – Ongoing

I run a true crime YouTube channel focused on real police bodycam footage of serious incidents. I need an experienced FOIA researcher to submit public records requests to police departments across the US specifically for bodycam footage involving homicides, officer-involved shootings, and incidents with deceased individuals. What you’ll be doing: • Submitting targeted FOIA/public records requests to police departments • Following up on delayed or unanswered requests • Handling denials and filing appeals when necessary • Delivering approved footage files directly to me Requirements: • Must have verifiable experience filing public records requests • Must know state-specific open records laws • Must be able to handle denials and appeals confidently • Reliable communication and consistent output This is ongoing long term work. Payment is per request filed with bonuses for successfully delivered footage. Do NOT apply if you have no prior FOIA experience.
