Freelance HR & Recruiting Assistant (Floral Industry)

Job Description We are a growing floral company seeking a detail-oriented, proactive HR & Recruiting Assistant to support our team. This is a remote, ongoing freelance role focused on sourcing talent, onboarding independent contractors, and maintaining our company documentation. Key Responsibilities Recruitment & Screening: Source and screen candidates for Florist and Floral Assistant roles via Indeed and social media. Conduct initial virtual interviews and coordinate schedules with our Floral Manager. Contractor Onboarding: Prepare 1099 independent contractor agreements, track completions, and set up new hires in Homebase. SOP Management: Maintain our Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) library. Follow up with SME's to ensure documentation is updated and deadlines are met. Admin Support: Maintain confidential personnel files and assist with minor HR process improvements. Qualifications 1–3 years of related experience. Proven experience sourcing talent. Familiarity with Homebase and Google Workspace/MS Office. Strong follow-up skills. Maintain confidentiality.
