Math Tutor for AMC Competitions

We are seeking an experienced and passionate AMC Math Competition Tutor to join our team and help students excel in competitive mathematics. The ideal candidate has a strong background in problem-solving, experience with AMC-level content, and the ability to explain complex mathematical concepts in a clear and engaging manner. Responsibilities Provide one-on-one or small-group tutoring for AMC 8, AMC 10, AMC 12, and AIME preparation. Teach key competition math topics, including algebra, geometry, number theory, combinatorics, and probability. Develop customized lesson plans based on each student's strengths and areas for improvement. Assign and review practice problems, mock exams, and homework. Track student progress and provide regular performance feedback. Teach effective test-taking strategies and time management techniques. Foster student confidence, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills. Requirements Strong mathematics background with demonstrated success in AMC, AIME, or similar mathematics competitions. Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, or a related field (preferred). Previous experience tutoring competitive mathematics students. Excellent communication and teaching skills. Ability to explain advanced concepts to students of varying skill levels. Reliable internet connection and availability for online tutoring sessions. Fluent English communication. Preferred Qualifications AIME qualification, USA(J)MO participation, or other notable mathematics competition achievements.
