Mechanical Engineer for Articulated Tablet Arm / Mechanism Concept Evaluation

I am developing a premium bedside tablet/media arm and am looking for a mechanical engineer to help evaluate the best product architecture before moving into detailed CAD. I have a rough working wall-mounted prototype and a second proposed end-table docking-station concept. The main unresolved challenge is achieving comfortable tablet viewing while lying flat on the back, while still keeping the product compact, stable, premium-looking, and easy to move with one hand. This first phase is not final production CAD. I am looking for a mechanical architecture / mechanism review. Expected deliverables: 1. Review my engineering brief and current prototype geometry. 2. Evaluate wall-mounted vs end-table docking-station architecture. 3. Recommend the best support/counterbalance approach, such as gas spring, torsion spring, friction clutch, linkage, or another mechanism. 4. Identify major technical risks related to load, droop, stability, range of motion, and manufacturability. 5. Recommend the next prototype direction. 6. Provide rough sketches or annotated recommendations if helpful. Ideal candidate experience: - Mechanical product design - Mechanism design - Articulated arms, mounts, hinges, brackets, or counterbalanced systems - Consumer product development - CAD/prototyping experience - Familiarity with spring/counterbalance mechanisms is a plus I have an engineering brief with measurements, photos, user scenarios, product requirements, and architecture comparison ready to share.
