Immigration Paralegal – Asylum Cases Position: Immigration Paralegal (Asylum) We are seeking an experienced Immigration Paralegal to assist our attorneys with affirmative and defensive asylum cases. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and experienced in preparing complete asylum applications and supporting evidence. Responsibilities Prepare and file Form I-589 (Application for Asylum and Withholding of Removal). Draft detailed asylum declarations and affidavits. Organize supporting evidence, country condition reports, and exhibits. Prepare responses to Requests for Evidence (RFEs), when applicable. Communicate with clients to collect documents and maintain case updates. Prepare case files for USCIS asylum interviews and Immigration Court proceedings. Maintain accurate case records and monitor filing deadlines. Qualifications Minimum 2 years of experience handling asylum cases. Experience with both affirmative and defensive asylum matters preferred. Experience with Venezuelan asylum cases is highly preferred. Strong English and Spanish communication skills. Excellent writing, organizational, and case management skills. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
