As we continue to expand our market presence, we are seeking an experienced and results driven Pharmaceutical Sales Specialist to help accelerate business growth and build long-term relationships with compounding pharmacies. Position Overview We are looking for a highly motivated sales professional with proven experience in the pharmaceutical industry, particularly in API sales, pharmaceutical ingredients, compounding pharmacy sales, or related healthcare sectors. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the pharmaceutical supply chain, excellent communication skills, and a demonstrated ability to generate new business opportunities while managing existing client relationships. This role is focused on identifying, contacting, and converting compounding pharmacies into long term customers for our API products. The successful candidate will play a key role in expanding our customer base, increasing sales revenue, and strengthening our market position. Key Responsibilities Identify and target compounding pharmacies across the United States. Generate qualified leads through outbound sales efforts, networking, referrals, and industry research. Build and maintain strong relationships with pharmacy owners, purchasing managers, pharmacists, and key decision makers. Present and promote our portfolio of Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (APIs). Conduct sales calls, virtual meetings, product presentations, and follow-ups. Negotiate pricing, contracts, and supply agreements. Maintain an active sales pipeline and consistently meet or exceed sales targets. Develop strategies to increase market penetration and customer retention. Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities within the compounding pharmacy sector. Collaborate closely with management to develop and execute sales growth initiatives. Provide regular sales reports, forecasts, and performance updates. Required Qualifications Proven experience in pharmaceutical sales, API sales, chemical ingredient sales, healthcare sales, or compounding pharmacy sales. Strong understanding of the pharmaceutical and compounding pharmacy market. Established network within compounding pharmacies is highly preferred. Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship building skills. Ability to work independently and deliver measurable sales results. Experience using CRM systems and sales tracking tools. Strong business development and lead generation capabilities. Goal-oriented mindset with a track record of achieving sales targets. Preferred Qualifications Previous experience selling Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (APIs). Knowledge of pharmaceutical regulations and industry standards. Experience working with pharmaceutical manufacturers, distributors, or compounding pharmacies. Existing relationships with pharmacy decision-makers and purchasing teams.
