QuickBooks Online (QBO) Bookkeeper & Payroll Specialist

Job Overview We are a growing digital marketing agency seeking an experienced QuickBooks Online (QBO) Bookkeeper to support our day-to-day financial operations. We are looking for someone who is highly organized, detail-oriented, proactive, and has extensive experience working within QuickBooks Online. This is an ongoing freelance opportunity with the potential for long-term work for the right candidate. Responsibilities - Manage and record all client payments in QuickBooks Online - Create and send client invoices accurately and on time - Monitor Accounts Receivable and follow up on outstanding invoices - Process payroll accurately and on schedule - Reconcile bank and credit card accounts - Categorize transactions and maintain accurate financial records - Assist with month-end closing and financial reporting - Communicate with our operations team regarding billing and payment issues - Identify discrepancies and recommend process improvements Required Qualifications - 3+ years of experience with QuickBooks Online (QBO) - Strong bookkeeping and accounting knowledge - Experience processing payroll (Gusto experience is a plus) - Experience managing Accounts Receivable and invoicing - Excellent attention to detail - Must be fluent in English - Ability to work independently and meet deadlines - High level of integrity and confidentiality What You'll Be Doing This role will primarily support: - Processing client payments - Sending recurring and one-time invoices - Managing payroll - Maintaining accurate bookkeeping in QuickBooks Online - Helping keep our financial operations organized and running smoothly Hours - Approximately 5-10 hours per week to start
