Upwork Job Description: Research Journalists Covering Dementia, Caregiving, Aging & Health (UK & USA) Overview I am preparing to launch a major report titled: The Myth of the Perfect Caregiver: What 813 Dementia Caregivers Want the World to Understand The report explores the experiences of dementia caregivers, including themes such as: • caregiver exhaustion • caregiver guilt • isolation and loneliness • family caregiving • aging populations • dementia and Alzheimer's disease • caregiver wellbeing I am looking for an experienced researcher to build a targeted media database of journalists in the United Kingdom and United States who regularly cover these topics. Deliverables Please provide a spreadsheet containing: Journalist Information • First Name • Last Name • Publication • Job Title • Email Address (where publicly available) • LinkedIn Profile • X/Twitter Profile (if available) • Country (UK or USA) Coverage Information For each journalist, include: • Links to their 3 most relevant articles published within the last 24 months • Publication date • Topic category Examples: • Dementia • Alzheimer's • Caregiving • Family Caregivers • Aging • Senior Care • Health • Longevity • Workplace Caregiving • Caregiver Burnout Target Publications Examples include (but are not limited to): United States • New York Times • Washington Post • Wall Street Journal • USA Today • AARP • Healthline • Verywell Health • Kaiser Health News • STAT News • NPR United Kingdom • BBC • The Guardian • The Times • The Telegraph • Daily Mail • Independent • Age UK publications • Health Service Journal • Nursing Times Important I am NOT looking for a general media list. I am specifically looking for journalists who have actively written about: • dementia • Alzheimer's disease • caregiving • family caregivers • caregiver stress • aging populations • elder care within the last 24 months. Deliverable Size Please provide approximately: • Between 50 – 75 UK journalists • Between 50 – 100 USA journalists Total target: 100 – 175 journalists Tag the journalists as: Tier 1 – highly relevant Tier 2 – relevant Tier 3 – potentially relevant Quality is more important than quantity.
