Sales Account Manager – Elevator Industry Remote | United States | Reports to the Founder & CEO About Kaiser Elevators Kaiser Elevators is an independent elevator contractor delivering new installation, modernization, repair and maintenance solutions across the United States. The Opportunity We are seeking an experienced Sales Account Manager to help grow Kaiser Elevators by generating new business across new installation, modernization, repair and maintenance services. Your focus will be on building strong customer relationships, identifying new opportunities and expanding Kaiser’s presence across the United States. As a growing independent elevator contractor, every customer relationship and every awarded project matters. This makes the role critical to Kaiser’s long-term success. Key Responsibilities * Generate new business opportunities across elevator new installation, modernization, repair and maintenance services. * Build and manage a healthy pipeline of qualified opportunities from initial contact through to contract award. * Develop long-term relationships with developers, general contractors, elevator consultants, property managers and building owners. * Identify upcoming projects, public bid opportunities and customer requirements within assigned markets. * Prepare proposals, review tender documentation and negotiate commercial agreements. * Represent Kaiser at customer meetings, networking events, industry functions, conferences and public bid opportunities. * Maintain accurate CRM records, sales forecasts, pipeline reports and customer notes. * Monitor market conditions, competitor activity and emerging sales opportunities. * Work closely with Estimating, Procurement, Project Management and Operations to provide a seamless customer experience. * Partner with Kaiser’s Tennessee Sales Account Manager to transition local opportunities where appropriate. * Act as a trusted advisor to customers and identify opportunities across Kaiser’s full range of services. * Maintain regular communication with customers throughout the sales process. * Support contract negotiations and the transition of awarded projects to the Project Management team. * Share customer feedback and market intelligence with leadership to support future growth. * Provide regular pipeline and sales-performance updates to senior leadership. What We’re Looking For * Minimum of five years’ experience in elevator sales, account management or business development. * Proven experience selling commercial elevator solutions within the United States. * Direct experience selling new installation, modernization, repair and/or maintenance services. * Previous experience with an independent elevator contractor is strongly preferred. * Strong understanding of commercial construction, tendering, bid processes and contract negotiation. * Knowledge of hydraulic and traction elevator systems. * Established relationships within the elevator, construction, property-management or development industries are highly desirable. * Excellent communication, relationship-building and negotiation skills. * Strong commercial judgment and a proven track record of winning profitable new business. * Ability to manage a long and complex sales cycle from prospecting through to contract award. * Strong organization, follow-up and CRM-management skills. * Self-motivated, accountable and comfortable working independently in a remote environment. * Willingness and ability to travel regularly throughout the United States. What Success Looks Like in Your First 12 Months * A strong pipeline of qualified opportunities has been developed across new installation, modernization, repair and maintenance. * Lasting relationships have been established with key customers, consultants, developers, property managers and general contractors. * Qualified opportunities are consistently converted into profitable projects and service agreements. * Sales forecasts and CRM records are accurate, complete and regularly maintained. * Kaiser’s presence and reputation have expanded across multiple target markets. * Existing customers are generating repeat business and referrals. * You have become a trusted representative of the Kaiser brand within the elevator and construction industries. * Strong coordination has been established between Sales, Estimating, Project Management and Operations. Location and Travel Location: Remote, based anywhere within the United States. Candidates must be available to work during standard U.S. business hours and travel within their assigned markets. Travel: Regular travel of approximately 30%–50% is expected for: * Customer meetings * Project and site visits * Networking events * Public bid opportunities * Industry conferences * Company meetings Occasional overnight travel will be required. Attendance at annual company retreats is expected. Required business travel will be arranged and paid for by Kaiser Elevators.
