What We're Looking For A scriptwriter with a strong background in economics and real experience writing for YouTube. We're not looking for generalist writers — we need someone who understands how the platform works, knows how to build a hook that grabs attention in the first 30 seconds, and can turn complex economic concepts into clear, fluid, and compelling narratives. Responsibilities - Research and develop scripts on economics, finance, and business news - Adapt tone and voice to each channel's profile (CEO, executive, fintech expert) - Structure every script with a strong hook, solid development, and clear CTA - Incorporate feedback and adjust style based on channel performance metrics Requirements - Native Spanish speaker - Solid knowledge of economics (macro, micro, markets, personal or corporate finance) - Proven experience writing scripts for YouTube (include examples or channels in your proposal) - Native or professional-level Spanish — content is produced for Spanish-speaking audiences - Ability to meet deadlines and communicate effectively in a remote setting Nice to Have - Experience working with economics or finance YouTube channels - Familiarity with YouTube metrics (CTR, retention, AVD) - Comfort with long-form video formats (10–20 min) Terms - Ongoing collaboration: 2 to 4 scripts per month - Rate: $50–60 USD per script depending on experience and length - Fully remote, written communication How to Apply Send your proposal including: at least one writing sample (ideally on an economic or financial topic), the YouTube channels you've worked with or follow as reference, and an opening hook written by you for this topic: "Why most people don't really understand how inflation works."
