Senior Flatbed / Conestoga Fleet Revenue Manager U.S. Trucking Experience Required | Existing Broker Relationships Preferred We're seeking a highly experienced Fleet Revenue Manager who can keep trucks loaded, maximize revenue, build broker relationships, and help us create one of the strongest owner-operator fleets in the industry. This is not a beginner dispatcher position. We are not looking for someone who simply searches DAT and books the first load they see. We are looking for someone who understands freight markets, develops broker relationships, builds profitable lanes, secures reloads before delivery, and treats every truck as a business that must generate maximum revenue. --- We are building a driver-focused operation specializing in: Conestoga Flatbed Step Deck Dry Van Power Only Our goal is simple: Keep trucks moving. Keep drivers profitable. Build long-term broker relationships. We believe successful owner-operators stay where they consistently make money. --- What We Expect You will be responsible for: Dispatching 5-10 trucks Building and maintaining broker relationships Negotiating top market rates Securing reloads before delivery Minimizing deadhead miles Managing driver communication Resolving detention, layover, TONU, and service issues Planning profitable weekly lane strategies Developing dedicated freight opportunities Maintaining dispatch records and reporting --- Required Experience Must have: Minimum 5 years dispatching U.S. trucks Experience dispatching Flatbeds and/or Conestogas Experience with owner-operators Strong understanding of Hours of Service Strong understanding of detention, layover, TONU, and accessorials Experience negotiating directly with brokers Experience planning multi-load weekly routes Preferred: Existing broker relationships Dedicated lane experience Fleet management experience Experience managing 5+ trucks simultaneously --- Software Experience Must be familiar with: DAT One Truckstop Highway RMIS MyCarrierPackets Google Workspace Additional TMS experience is a plus. --- Compensation Compensation will be based on: Experience Fleet revenue generated Broker relationship value Performance High performers will have opportunities for long-term growth as our fleet expands. --- Required Questions Please answer ALL questions below. 1. What is the highest weekly revenue you have generated for: One truck Five trucks Ten trucks 4. Which load boards and TMS systems have you used? 5. Describe your process for negotiating rates with brokers. 6. How do you secure reloads before delivery? 7. How do you minimize deadhead miles? 8. What are your preferred Flatbed and Conestoga lanes departing: Houston, TX Dallas, TX Salt Lake City, UT Denver, CO Explain why. 9. How many broker contacts do you currently have that you communicate with regularly? 10. Approximately what percentage of your freight comes from: Direct broker relationships Load boards 11. Please provide three broker references, carrier references, or employer references related to dispatching. --- Dispatch Exercise You have: One Conestoga trailer Driver empty Monday morning Location: Houston, TX Driver must return to Houston by Friday evening No tarps Driver prefers freight over 500 miles Build a complete 5-day dispatch plan including: Pickup city Delivery city Loaded miles Deadhead miles Estimated revenue Reasoning for each load Provide: Total loaded miles Total deadhead miles Total estimated revenue Number of loads --- Important We are looking for dispatchers who can: Build broker relationships Keep trucks loaded continuously Maximize revenue Think strategically Operate independently If your primary experience is only posting on load boards and booking freight, this position may not be a good fit. We are looking for professionals who understand how elite dispatch operations are built and who want to help create one of the best owner-operator fleets in the industry.
