Short-Form Scriptwriter — B2B IT / Cybersecurity / AI Content (Proven Growth Track Record)

We are an IT and cybersecurity provider working with SME Market. We're scaling our short-form video presence across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts and LinkedIn, and we're looking for a scriptwriter who can turn complex IT, cybersecurity and AI topics into content that non-technical business owners actually want to watch. The Role You'll write punchy, scroll-stopping scripts for talking-head reels (30–60 seconds) aimed at decision-makers — CEOs, CFOs and operations leaders at SME businesses. These people know IT matters, but they don't speak our language. Your job is to translate technical topics into money, time, risk and business outcomes Who we're looking for: A scriptwriter with a proven, demonstrable track record growing a following in B2B — ideally IT, MSP, cybersecurity, SaaS, or a closely adjacent technical industry Someone who understands short-form retention mechanics (hooks, curiosity gaps, pacing) — not just someone who writes well Strong grasp of writing for a buyer audience, not a peer/technical audience Reliable, fast turnaround, and comfortable writing in a natural, spoken voice (we're on camera, not sending emails) To be considered, your application must include: Examples of work you have directly written — links to actual videos/accounts you scripted, ideally in B2B or a technical niche. Tell us specifically what you wrote vs. what the team did. Any growth or performance numbers you can attach to that work (follower growth, views, watch-time, leads — whatever you've got). A one-line answer to this: In one sentence, how would you hook a busy CEO into a video about backup failures? (This tells us you read the brief and can think on your feet.)
