Social Media Manager for Cleveland Behavioral Health Nonprofit (Recently Rebranded)

Even Kings Feel Healing Community (EKFHC) is a CARF-accredited behavioral health nonprofit based in Cleveland, Ohio, serving our community for over 10 years. We recently completed an exciting rebrand and are looking for a skilled social media manager to help us tell our story, grow our audience, and position us as a partner of choice for corporate sponsors. About Us: EKFHC works at the intersection of healing and justice. Our work spans five pillars: Behavioral Health, Restorative Justice, Violence Intervention and Healing Justice, Workforce Development, and Prevention and Wellness. We serve individuals and families impacted by trauma, incarceration, and community violence — and we do it with a distinctive voice and brand identity that we want reflected in everything we post. What You'll Do: Create and publish 2–3 posts per week across our social media platforms (content calendar, captions, and graphics) Craft content that drives engagement — comments, shares, and click-throughs to our website Highlight what sets EKFHC apart: our rebrand story, our five pillars, our research and thought leadership, and our community impact Promote our events, trainings, and program launches Develop sponsor-facing content that clearly communicates why EKFHC is a strong corporate partnership investment (visibility, community impact, alignment with corporate social responsibility goals) Maintain brand consistency with our visual identity (black, white, gold, and emerald green) and voice Track and report basic analytics monthly (engagement, reach, website traffic from social) What We're Looking For: Proven experience managing social media for nonprofits, healthcare, or mission-driven organizations (portfolio or sample accounts required) Strong copywriting skills with the ability to write about sensitive topics (mental health, justice involvement, community violence) with dignity and cultural competence Graphic design ability (Canva or Adobe) to produce on-brand visuals Understanding of engagement strategy — you know how to write posts that spark conversation, not just broadcast Experience creating content that supports fundraising or sponsorship goals is a strong plus Familiarity with Cleveland or Northeast Ohio communities is a bonus, but not required Engagement Details: Ongoing contract. We previously paid $800 per month for this work, but we are open to discussion. Remote, with monthly check-in calls with our communications team We'll provide brand guidelines, photos, event calendars, and program information To Apply: Please share (1) links to 2–3 social media accounts you've managed, (2) a brief note on how you'd approach promoting a nonprofit rebrand, and (3) your rate.
