Summary

I'm an executive advisor producing a CEO summit in September 2026 that will bring together 50-100 CEOs, Founders, Presidents, and Managing Partners from companies generating $10M-$500M in annual revenue. This is an inaugural event, so the most important qualification is experience securing five- and six-figure sponsorships for new or first-year events: launching a sponsorship program from scratch, building credibility for an event with no track record, and bringing an innovative eye to what sells at that price point. I'm looking for a sponsorship sales specialist to both refine the package structure below and secure sponsors against it. What You'll Be Selling -Title Sponsor ($75K-$100K, one available): naming rights, a speaking slot, top placement across all branding, a dedicated meeting space during the summit, premium dinner seating, and first right of refusal for next year -Strategic Partner ($35K-$60K, two to three available): a speaking or panel role, a branded breakout session, logo placement, an exhibit table, and dinner seats -Supporting Sponsor ($15K-$25K, several available): exhibit table, logo placement, two attendee passes -Contributor ($5K-$10K, open): logo placement, one attendee pass, social acknowledgment -Add-on experiences ($5K-$15K): reception sponsor, recharge lounge, welcome gift sponsor, AV or technology sponsor These are suggestions and expected to change with the advise of you the expert Scope of Work -Review and refine the sponsorship package structure below based on what you've seen sell at five- and six-figure price points, drawing on the audience profile (50-100 CEOs, Founders, Presidents, and Managing Partners from $10M-$500M revenue companies) -Research and identify prospective sponsors fitting the buyer profile: private banks, M&A advisory firms, executive search firms, business law firms, insurance and benefits brokers, tax and accounting advisory firms, enterprise technology advisory firms, commercial banks, and commercial real estate firms -Conduct outreach via LinkedIn, email, and phone, plus follow up on warm introductions I provide -Pitch and present packages to interested prospects -Negotiate terms within the defined package structure Close agreements and hand off to me for fulfillment Compensation Structure This role combines a modest fixed fee with commission. Commission is paid only after the sponsor has paid in full, not on signature. Rather than set fixed terms upfront, I'd like to hear what's worked for you: in your application, please propose a fixed rate and commission percentage based on what you've seen work for similar new-event sponsorship campaigns. Note: the $500 project budget listed on this posting is a placeholder required by Upwork's format, not the actual offer. The actual structure will be determined by the proposal from the specialist we hire. Timeline Sponsorships need to be secured by mid-August 2026 to allow time for branding production and event materials. Ready to begin immediately. What I'm Looking For This is an inaugural event, so the most important qualification is experience securing sponsorships for new or first-year events: launching sponsorship programs from scratch, building credibility for an event with no track record, and the resourceful, innovative approach that takes. Beyond that: -Demonstrated experience closing five- and six-figure sponsorships for new or early-stage events, ideally in the $10K-$100K range -Track record in professional services, financial services, or executive and leadership event spaces preferred -Strong written and verbal outreach skills suited to a C-suite and senior decision-maker audience -Comfortable with a structure that combines a modest fixed fee with commission, paid after the sponsor's payment is received -Comfortable working independently, with a brief weekly check-in on progress How to Apply Please share examples of sponsorships you've secured (event type, sponsor type, deal size), describe your typical outreach approach, and note any questions about the compensation structure above.
