[URGENT] Data/Web Scraping Specialist: Attorneys' Public Information

We are looking for a detail-oriented Data/Web Scraping Specialist to extract public records data. The goal is to generate 4 comprehensive datasets of cases and their features by iterating through specific case number sequences. The final deliverables are 4 datasets including about 9 columns each, and as many rows as necessary according to the total number of cases. Scripts should be included for each dataset as a part of the deliverable for auditing purposes. If you have experience in data collection and can provide accurate and up-to-date information, we would love to hear from you. Please ensure that the data is presented in a clear and organized format. Scope of work (Cameron County): 1. Access re:SearchTX website (https://research.txcourts.gov/CourtRecordsSearch/ui/Home) 2. After registering and signing in, select Advanced Search. 3. In the Advanced Search section, select Cases in the Search for dropdown menu, select Case Location in the Search by dropdown menu, select CAMERON COUNTY - DISTRICT CLERK as location, add the filter for Case Filed Date and add the range 01/01/2024 - 06/10/2026. 4. Select the Search button. 5. Sort the results by Case Number. 6. Open each case 7. Store the information of each case. In the dataset, store the data as case, case_name, filed, type, status, and location. 8. Scroll down to the Parties section and store attorneys’ information, such as attorney_name, and party_type (Plaintiff/Defendant). One row per attorney. Party type refers to whether the attorney is for Plaintiff or Defendant side. This will require you to duplicate (or replicate as many times as possible) the information of each case. For instance, if a case has 5 attorneys involved, the information of the case will appear 5 times, one for each attorney. 9. Scroll down and store the information in the Hearings and Events sections in a unique cell called info. Let’s just put this information in a unique cell (repeated for each attorney as necessary). * Files created during this process: cases_cameron.xlsx Scope of work (Hidalgo County): 1. Access Hidalgo County Public Record Search website (https://pa.co.hidalgo.tx.us/Search.aspx?ID=200) 2. Select Case in the Search By section. 3. In the case number section introduce the following sequences, where * might take the values of A to M: From C-0001-24-* to C-6100-24-* From C-0001-25-* to C-6100-25-* From C-0001-26-* to C-6100-26-* 4. Select the Search button. 5. Store the information of all the cases. In the dataset, store the data as case, style, filed, location, type, and status. Note that the information for filed and location, and for type and status appear one on top of each other as signaled below. 6. Select the case number 7. Store the information framed in red below as columns called attorney_name, phone, and party_type (one row per attorney). Party type refers to whether the attorney is for Plaintiff or Defendant side. This will require you to duplicate (or replicate as many times as possible) the information of each case. For instance, if a case has 5 attorneys involved, the information of the case will appear 5 times, one for each attorney. 8. Scroll down and store the information in the Events & Orders of the Court section in a unique cell called info. Let’s just put this information in a unique cell (repeated for each attorney as necessary). * Files created during this process: cases_hidalgo.xlsx Scope of Work (Nueces County): 1. Access Nueces County Public Record Search website (https://portal-txnueces.tylertech.cloud/Portal/) 2. Select Smart Search. 3. In the Search Criteria section introduce the following sequences, where * might take the values of A to H: From 2024DCV-0001-* to 2024DCV-5500-* From 2025DCV-0001-* to 2025DCV-5500-* From 2026DCV-0001-* to 2026DCV-5500-* 4. Select the Submit button. 5. Store the information of each case. In the dataset, store the data as case, filed, type, status, and location. 6. Select the case number 7. From the Case Information section, store the case_name. 8. Scroll down to the Party section and store attorneys’ information, such as attorney_name, and party_type (Plaintiff/Defendant). One row per attorney. Party type refers to whether the attorney is for Plaintiff or Defendant side. This will require you to duplicate (or replicate as many times as possible) the information of each case. For instance, if a case has 5 attorneys involved, the information of the case will appear 5 times, one for each attorney. 9. In the case number section introduce the following sequences, where ** is C1, C2, C3, D1, D2, D3, and D4: From 2024CVA000001** to 2024CVA003000** From 2025CVA000001** to 2025CVA003000** From 2026CVA000001** to 2026CVA003000** 4. Select the Search button. 5. Store the information of all the cases. In the dataset, store the data as case, style, filed, location, type, and status. Note that the information for filed and location, and for type and status appear one on top of each other as signaled below. 6. Select the case number 7.
