Qarma ( https://www.qarmainspect.com/ ) is a B2B SaaS solution for quality inspections and supplier compliance. We are looking for an experienced UI designer to join us for a project in January, 2025. Partnering closely with our UX designer, you will play a vital role in refreshing our UI design and building a design system from the ground up that aligns with the Qarma brand and enhances user experience across our web and mobile app. Key deliverables expected from you: 1. Accessible Color System: Streamlined use of grayscale colors, guidelines for incorporating Qarma brand colors into UIs, and a set of signal colors. 2. Whitespace Scales: Definition of whitespace scales across screen sizes and guidelines for their use. 3. Typography Scales and Font selection: - Specification of sizes, line-heights, and typographic consistency across screen sizes. - Font Selection: Identification of well suited font(s) for display/headings and UI text, that support multilingual needs, including Vietnamese and Chinese characters. 4. Icon Library: Selection of an icon library that complements the typography system. 5. Design for these base component: - Button: configurable for different uses - and a concept for grouping buttons. - Chip: configurable for different uses. - Status component - and a system for status colors. - Input controls: text, dates, drop-lists, radio buttons, checkboxes - and validation callouts. - Key/value pairs: Support various layouts and content like text, numbers, chips. 5. Styling/concept for overlays like for modals, drop-lists, toolips etc., utilising shadow or other visual mean. 7. Design of a general page template with global navigation, page header, content blocks, side panel and footer. 9. Bonus Task: Design ways to integrate an AI assistant into the components above. We do not expect you to build "production ready" components in Figma. Our UX designer will do this. Your focus will be visual style, concepts and accessibility. While we have set an hourly rate for the project, we estimate you to put 60-80 hours into the project (planned for January and February). With the possibility of some ad hoc hours to support us on challenges we might face as we build and implement the new design into our product. Your Profile: You are an experienced UI Designer and have a track record of building successful and scalable design systems with a focus on consistency, accessibility and visual appeal. Preferably you have experience with designing for B2B and professional applications. As you can probably guess from the list of deliverables above we aim to take an atomic approach to our design and get the fundamentals right from the start, so we need you to be the kind of person who really care about the details. We are searching for an AMAZING Mobile App Designer capable of producing high quality UI / Icons / Screenshots for our Mobile App portfolio. 

This is a full time role. 

 What the job involves:
 1. You will be responsible for all stages of the design process - ideation, prototyping designs, producing production ready designs, as well as producing app icons and screenshots for the Apple App Stores. 
 2. Designing UI for Apple mobile apps. Phone and Tablet. 
 3. Tight collaboration with developer team 
 4. Lead the design efforts to make the product intuitive
 5. Ensure product adheres to design standards

 Required Skills 
1. At least 2 - 4 years of UX and UI design experience (and the portfolio to prove it) as a hands-on designer in a product team through the product development cycle of successfully launched mobile applications 
2. Excellent knowledge of design patterns of Apple (Human interface guidelines) mobile platforms
 3. An experienced and flexible user of digital design tools, primarily Figma
 4. Ability to work autonomously and manage time effectively
 5. Enjoy working as part of a small team in a fast-paced Agile development environment
 6. English (High Level )
