Hey you! I'm Mia, a visual artist with a MA degree in Painting. My expertise includes both Traditional and Digital Painting and Drawing, Character Design, and Illustration. I am primarily passionate about hand-drawn illustrations created with a combination of lines and dots (crosshatching and stippling). Through daily habits, I have been developing my skills for more than ten years and regard myself as competent to work with various themes and concepts; therefore, I can draw anything I see or what your mind, or mine, can imagine. Hello All! My name is Kendall Hill, and I am a freelance photographer, writer, and events curator based between Chicago and Milan and open to work in both America and Europe. At the core, I love visual language and I'm passionate about telling stories. My core artistic language comes from a creative background in the fine art world, where I have curated shows and community happenings for the children and artists of Chicago over the last decade. I am the former Art Programs Coordinator for the Chicago Public Schools District, where I specialized in curating our visual art events and large-scale festivals. I also have created my own events throughout Chicago, throwing an annual block party (called Angel's Lane) every August in my homeotnw where thousands of people attend. As a photographer and videographer, I have worked up and down the line. I have assisted on major brand shoots and fashion marketing campaigns, as well as being the lead on event documentation, long-form storytelling, and my own creative projects made with collaborators around America. I have worked in Los Angeles, Austin, NYC, and of course - Chicago. I am currently an Artist In Residence in Milan at the Via Farini VIR program, housed in the city's major cultural institution Fabbrica Del Vapore. I am currently working on new photography projects at the resdiency, and working part time as a copywriter for a worldwide marketing agency that promotes concerts and tours from major artists performing throughout the USA. I have written digital copy for artists such as BLACKPINK, Bob Dylan, Alessia Cara, Wardruna, ATLiens, and many more. I've spent over twenty years finding the artist nobody else has found yet, and the words an organization actually means to say. I work in two connected lanes: curating art programs for physical spaces and building brand and cultural strategy for organizations that want their values reflected in what they do. Art curation & advisory for spaces. At Big Medium, I built and ran partnership art programs for Line Hotel and Tito's Handmade Vodka, sourcing artists, designing proposals, and managing the full presentation from substrate and framing to installation logistics. At The Projecto, the independent gallery I founded and ran for eight years, I sourced, presented, and sold work by U.S., Mexican, and Chilean artists, created programming for Soho House, and served as a juror and public art panelist for institutions from ArtPrize to the Austin-Bergstrom International Airport. If you're an interior designer, architect, developer, or hospitality group that needs a bespoke art program sourced, proposed, and presented as a finished vision, not a stock-image afterthought, this is where I work. Brand & cultural strategy. I advise organizations on the gap between what they want to do and what their audience actually needs: narrative and voice work, culture and experience reviews, and building practices that are inclusive by design rather than by checkbox. I was sole project manager for the Texas Biennial (81 artists, 13 venues, 18+ public programs) and have advised the City of Austin on multiple public art initiatives. I consult and design strategy. I don't execute programming on the ground, so you get an outside eye that's rigorous without competing for the same seat as your team. Bilingual (English/Spanish), based in Austin, and used to running multiple concurrent projects at speed without dropping the details that make a program credible.
