Building an Android، iOS app, or stuck with one that's broken? Before I give you a number, I want to look at what you already have. The code, the designs, the crash reports, a screen recording of the bug, whatever exists. Half the time the problem isn't what someone was told it was. I'd rather find that out in the first two days than in week three. So send me the app, the Figma file, or just a description of what's going wrong. You'll get an answer within a day: what I think is actually happening, roughly how long it takes, and whether it's worth doing at all. If it's not something I should be the one building, I'll tell you that. I'm a senior Android developer. Four years of it, across telecom, fintech, e-commerce, streaming and TV. Most recently at Vodafone Egypt, before that e-finance and Mtor. Some of what that looked like: A payment module at Vodafone that was quietly failing about a fifth of its transactions. A Flappy Bird-style game running on Android, iOS, desktop and web from a single Kotlin codebase using Compose Multiplatform. On Upwork specifically: an Android TV app in Kotlin, a Jetpack Compose performance bug nobody had been able to pin down, a web scraping Android app, and an Android payment terminal build.
