I am a digital content creator who has recently relocated to Denver, Colorado after working as a professional freelancer in the DC area since 2019. I specialize in capturing and packaging photo and video content for social media. I have worked creating and marketing content for a variety of clothing brands, organizations, businesses, restaurants, and musical artists. All About Me Things have changed since I’ve been in the workforce. That was in the 1980’s and 1990’s. I was going strong in the working field, so I must approach this differently. I was diagnosed with Multiple Scleroses in the Spring of 1996. I didn’t quite know what to do with myself, because I had no idea what challenges were ahead of me. This is where I begin my resume In 1993, I was employed at the Regional Transportation District, for 3 years. I was the secretary of the Light Rail Department. I was responsible for giving tours to the public and explaining rules for having your bicycles on the train. In my spare time, I focused on my creative writing. Looking for a change in my work, I chose to work as a customer service representative at Dish Network, Echostar. I enjoyed that job, because it allowed me the freedom to focus more on my writing. The experiences I had with the customers was a joy. I was able to include some of those stories into my book. It took me ten years to complete my book, Love Comes in Circles. It was published in 2007 by Xlibris. In my book, I wrote a poem, Black Sky Rain. I won an Honorable Mention in Poetry.Com for that poem and it was published in the Poetry.Com book. I sold a lot of books to my friends and family, but I still didn’t know my true talent. I have been published before by Ezine, in 2017. That article is called, Travel by Cruise Ship. Again, I was surprised, because I am not a professional publisher! I just want to see how people light up when I see them reading my work! I am a happily married, Stay-At-Home mother for the last 13 years, but that passion for writing has never left me. Now that my kids aren’t as needy of me as before, it’s time for me to pick up where I left off! I have been with American Writers & Artists, Inc. for the last 10 years.
