You've built the app. Now it needs to run in production properly, and stay up. I take working apps live on a VPS, AWS, or Kubernetes, hardened and documented. You get Docker, CI/CD, real monitoring, reproducible Terraform in your repo, and a runbook so you can run it yourself, plus a 30-day stability warranty, 100% IP ownership, and no lock-in. A web app, an AI app or LLM agent, something you built with Lovable, Bolt, v0, or Replit, a self-hosted tool like n8n or Supabase, a scraper, a deployment that's broken or down, or a migration with no data loss. If you can describe it, odds are I've shipped something like it. This is deployment work, not app building. Your code's written, so I get it running in production the way it should be, not half-done with the parts a cheap bid skips. What I won't do: build features, fix bugs in your app code, or babysit it forever on a retainer. I deploy what exists, and I'll tell you up front if something's out of scope instead of surprising you after. If it's built and you know where it should run, send me a message with what you've got and where you want it. Not sure it's in scope, or which target fits? Message me anyway and I'll give you a straight answer, no pitch. How I work: fixed price, not an hourly meter, so you know the cost up front. Async and independent. I adapt to your existing setup, handle the whole process with clear progress updates, and don't eat your team's engineering hours. Also available, if it's specifically what you need: serverless migrations (moving AWS Lambda functions to Rust on ARM64 for up to 50x faster cold starts and up to 85% lower compute cost), and custom high-throughput cloud architectures built for scale. Message me directly about these. Core stack: Rust, Python, Bash. AWS (dual-certified), Kubernetes (CKAD), Terraform, Docker, CI/CD, Linux (NixOS/Arch/REHL-based). Postgres, DynamoDB, Supabase, Redis. Networking with Traefik and Cloudflare.

I build cloud infrastructure that you can leave alone. Predictable, reproducible, auditable. Not held together with manual ClickOps and dread. Most teams I work with come to me when one of three things is happening. The AWS bill keeps climbing every month and nobody can explain why. I cut waste on real client workloads by moving idle EC2 to scheduled start and stop, replacing NAT Gateways with VPC endpoints (saves around $35 per month per environment, before traffic), right sizing instances, and surfacing waste with proper tagging and Cost Explorer dashboards. Production was set up in the console two years ago and now nobody dares touch it. I migrate ClickOps environments into Terraform without breaking running services. Module based, workspace driven, with state in S3 and DynamoDB locking. The handover is a repo your team can read, not a black box only I understand. The infrastructure works but it is exposed in places it should not be. I have moved public ALBs to private origins behind CloudFront and WAF, replaced shared IAM users with role based access, locked down security groups, and put secrets in Secrets Manager instead of environment files. Boring, careful work. The kind that prevents the 3 AM call. What I work with daily: - AWS — ECS Fargate, RDS, Aurora, S3, CloudFront, Route 53, Cognito, Secrets Manager, SQS, Lambda, EC2, VPC, IAM, WAF, CloudWatch - Terraform — custom modules, workspace structure, multi account setups, S3 and DynamoDB state - CI/CD — GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, automated database migrations, container scanning - Python — FastAPI services, Celery workers, automation scripts, infrastructure tooling - Security — Cognito with JWT auth, VPC design without NAT, IAM least privilege, audit logging - Containers — Docker, ECS Fargate (Spot and on demand), private ECR Recent work: - Built a battery storage SaaS platform on AWS. FastAPI plus Celery, dual queue ECS Fargate workers (Spot for short jobs, on demand for long ones), Cognito auth, full Terraform from scratch. - Architected a private ML training platform on OVH. GPU workers, Celery, Tailscale private networking, S3 compatible object storage. - Self hosted infrastructure deployment on a Swiss vServer. Docker stack with Keycloak SSO, Traefik with Let's Encrypt, GitLab CI/CD. - Migrated multiple client workloads from public ALBs to private origins behind CloudFront and WAF. - Built scheduled EC2 start and stop automation for a workflow stack to cut idle compute cost. How I work: - Everything goes in Terraform. If it is not in code, it does not exist. - I write things down. Runbooks, decision logs, architecture diagrams. The next person on the project should not need to call me. - I would rather flag a risk early than discover it during a deploy. - If I think the scope is wrong or the approach will not hold up, I will say so. You are paying for judgment, not just hands. Background includes 9 AWS certifications across architect, security, networking, and devops tracks, plus internships at Deutsche Bank and ING Hubs on the Java backend side, and ongoing freelance work across AWS infrastructure, security migrations, and platform engineering. If you are trying to clean up production, get out of ClickOps, cut your AWS bill, or build a new platform from scratch, happy to talk. If your project is more "throw a script together fast and do not worry about it later," I am probably not the right fit.

Platform & DevOps engineer with 10+ years building infrastructure that ships faster, costs less, and stays up. I help startups and scale-ups across fintech, e-commerce, and SaaS design and operate cloud-native platforms on AWS and GCP. My work spans the full stack of modern infrastructure: Kubernetes cluster design and hardening, GitOps pipelines with GitHub Actions and ArgoCD, Terraform modules for repeatable multi-environment deployments, and observability stacks using Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, and ELK. Beyond standard DevOps, I bring AI-Ops capabilities that give teams a real edge. I deploy and manage self-hosted large language models using Ollama and Open-WebUI, keeping sensitive data on-premises and fully GDPR-compliant. I build intelligent automation workflows with n8n that replace manual handoffs with event-driven pipelines — from infrastructure events to automated actions without human intervention. Security is built in, not bolted on. I implement DevSecOps controls including WAF, AWS GuardDuty, IAM least-privilege, secrets management, and compliance automation. This matters especially for European clients operating under GDPR. Currently at Thoughtworks as an Infrastructure Consultant, I partner with engineering teams to define platform strategy, reduce cloud costs, and accelerate delivery cycles. 100% Job Success across 19 contracts. Top Rated on Upwork. If you need someone to architect your cloud platform, migrate workloads, build production-grade CI/CD, or introduce AI-powered automation into your workflows — let's connect.
