I wrote an early pay off system for Thorn EMI's finance team in VB v1, while I was working on making the Rent-A-Center system usable in the UK and fix some of the bugs. I have continued to write WinForms applications ever since, in VB.NET and C#. WPF/Silverlight: WPF seemed to be the natural progression from WinForms, but the 2 couldn't be more different. I have worked with WPF and moved into Silverlight at a later date. I have written many applications in both technologies for many companies, large and small. SQL Server: Proficient in database design and management, my expertise in SQL Server has been pivotal in crafting efficient and secure data solutions. Blazor: Pioneering in web development, using Blazor to create dynamic and interactive web applications, seamlessly integrating C# into the modern web. MAUI: At the forefront of cross-platform mobile development, I leverage MAUI and MAUI Hybrid to craft native applications for diverse platforms, ensuring a consistent user experience. Azure Functions: Testing in Docker on the local machine and deploying to Azure.
