I am an award-winning novelist who has published two books with a major New York City publishing house. My first novel went to auction and five publishing houses bid on it. It was also an IndieNext pick. My second book won the 2016 Beverly Hills Book Award for Excellence in Fiction. It was called "Compulsively readable" by Kirkus Reviews. It was number four on PopSugar's list of must-read books, and it was featured in USA Today. My third novel was published by Koehler Books in October, 2019. I have extensive editing, development editing and proofreading experience and have worked with acclaimed authors. I offer everything from intensive manuscript reviews to development editing to proofreading and basic editing. I am also a writing coach with more than twenty years of experience. I have worked for newspapers and magazines as a writer, editor and copyeditor. I had a double minor in college concentrating on fiction and non-fiction writing. I have lectured at writing conferences and workshops all over the country and have taught graduate-level writing courses at major universities. I conduct private writing groups as well as one-on-one coaching for writers wanting to improve their craft and create a more well-developed manuscript.
