In reviewing, I specialize, as much as possible, in small press and self-published books, to give them whatever tiny bit of publicity help that I can. After retiring from proposal management at a leading accounting firm, I launched my own editorial business to focus on what I do best: delivering clear, polished, publication-ready writing. I bring 20+ years of experience in the medical field, additional legal editing experience with a law firm, and a proven track record editing books across multiple genres—many of which are now published. I was born and raised in Italy, just outside of Milan. When I turned 21 years old, I moved to NYC to take a semester at NYU and ended up staying for 5 years. Later I moved back to Europe (Germany and Italy) only to come back to the United States 10 years ago. I now live in Connecticut with my husband, two daughters and our furry family consisting of two dogs, two cats and a hamster!

I am an award-winning novelist who has published two books with a major New York City publishing house. My first novel went to auction and five publishing houses bid on it. It was also an IndieNext pick. My second book won the 2016 Beverly Hills Book Award for Excellence in Fiction. It was called "Compulsively readable" by Kirkus Reviews. It was number four on PopSugar's list of must-read books, and it was featured in USA Today. My third novel was published by Koehler Books in October, 2019. I have extensive editing, development editing and proofreading experience and have worked with acclaimed authors. I offer everything from intensive manuscript reviews to development editing to proofreading and basic editing. I am also a writing coach with more than twenty years of experience. I have worked for newspapers and magazines as a writer, editor and copyeditor. I had a double minor in college concentrating on fiction and non-fiction writing. I have lectured at writing conferences and workshops all over the country and have taught graduate-level writing courses at major universities. I conduct private writing groups as well as one-on-one coaching for writers wanting to improve their craft and create a more well-developed manuscript. I mentor high school and college students as well as writers of all ages wishing to advance their skills.
