I have 12+ years of Graphic Design experience and 4+ years of WordPress Development, totaling 15+ years in the creative / tech industries. BREAKDOWN: (from oldest to recent work experience) 4 years --- at two advertising agencies as a senior designer, creating logos, branding, monthly magazines, quarterly 5k run T-shirt designs, yearly political campaigns, and working across various advertising media. 1 year --- at a printing company as a customer-facing graphic artist, assisting customers with pricing, paper selections, designing, printing, and delivery. I've worked on over 100 designs, including business cards, invitations, stickers, large signs, banners, stamps, and various other printing needs for both businesses and individuals. 4 years --- in journalism at a university, with the title of "web designer" (in quotes because it constituted only a quarter of the job). I spent a significant amount of time in the field doing photography and video shooting at events. Upon returning to the computer, my tasks mainly involved color-correcting photos, editing videos, proofreading copy, uploading content to the website, and repeating the process. It was a hectic but enjoyable experience. 2 years --- in an aviation training company as a multimedia specialist. I dedicated 8 hours a day to drawing and animating aircraft parts in 2D. My primary goal was to create digital and print materials to train aircraft mechanics. As a reference, educational materials for a specific aircraft cost over $1 million, and I worked on approximately four small jet and propeller aircraft projects. 4+ years --- as a WordPress developer for a software company. Although I had opportunities for full web design and graphic design projects, the majority of my job focused on providing Tier 3 Level tech support for all things related to career sites. This included resolving site issues, addressing job posting problems, assisting with site builds, managing certificate expirations, handling API endpoints, and more.
