Over 5+ years I have delivered production Computer Vision solutions across healthcare, manufacturing, retail, security, and autonomous systems. The common thread across all of it has been the same: turning raw image and video data into something that actually runs, scales, and holds up under real operating conditions. My work covers the full pipeline. That means camera calibration, image preprocessing, dataset curation, model training, optimization, and deployment, all the way through to monitoring in production. I work primarily in Python using OpenCV, PyTorch, TensorFlow, and ONNX. The goal is always a system that is fast, accurate, and maintainable by a real engineering team, not just a proof of concept that impresses in a slide deck. 𝗢𝗯𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗗𝗲𝘁𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗰𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 I have deployed YOLO-based and transformer-based detectors including DETR and RT-DETR for pedestrian counting, vehicle tracking, product verification, and wildlife monitoring. For tracking I use DeepSORT, ByteTrack, and custom Kalman filter pipelines built for high-occlusion environments. A model that scores 97% mAP on a benchmark is worthless if it falls apart under variable lighting or partial occlusion in the field, so I test against real conditions from day one rather than treating deployment as an afterthought. 𝗠𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗦𝗰𝗶𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰 𝗜𝗺𝗮𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗴 I have built segmentation and classification models for radiology images, histopathology slides, and microscopy data, working alongside clinical teams to integrate these into real diagnostic workflows. In regulated environments, dataset curation, class imbalance handling, and interpretability are not optional extras. They are the job, and I treat them that way. 𝗜𝗻𝗱𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗜𝗻𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗤𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗹 I have built visual defect detection systems for manufacturing lines inspecting surface anomalies, dimensional tolerances, and assembly errors at throughput rates that demand sub-100ms inference. Most of these run on edge hardware: NVIDIA Jetson platforms, Intel NUCs, ARM devices. That requires real model optimization through quantization, pruning, and TensorRT conversion, not just throwing a GPU at the problem. 𝟯𝗗 𝗩𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗦𝗽𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗽𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 I have implemented stereo depth estimation, LiDAR-camera fusion, and Structure-from-Motion pipelines for robotics, autonomous vehicles, and AR applications. I work with point clouds using Open3D and integrate vision outputs into ROS-based robotic systems when the project calls for it. 𝗗𝗮𝘁𝗮, 𝗗𝗲𝗽𝗹𝗼𝘆𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗘𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗜𝗻 𝗕𝗲𝘁𝘄𝗲𝗲𝗻 Most Computer Vision projects fail because of data, not models. Bad labeling, weak augmentation, and distribution shift between training and production cause more failures than architecture choices ever do. I address these problems before touching model code, using Label Studio, CVAT, and Roboflow for annotation workflows, and designing augmentation strategies in Albumentations tuned to the actual deployment environment. On the deployment side I build REST APIs with FastAPI, containerize services with Docker and Kubernetes, and handle multi-camera video ingestion using GStreamer and FFmpeg. Experiments are tracked in MLflow and Weights and Biases so model lineage is maintained across every production update. 𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝗜 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗸 I scope honestly. If the data is not there or the timeline is not realistic, I will say so upfront rather than take the contract and deliver something disappointing. I share working prototypes early so you can validate the direction before full-scale development begins. I write clean, documented code with reproducible training scripts that your team can actually pick up and maintain. And I communicate throughout the project without needing to be chased for updates.
