Integrated systems rarely break on the first successful API call. They break three weeks later: a failed Shopify webhook, an ERP order that never synced, a CRM contact missing from the pipeline, or POS inventory that no longer matches the store. I build and fix the middleware/API layer behind those systems. My strongest work is around Shopify, ERP, CRM, POS, and Laravel-based backend systems where product data, orders, inventory, customers, payments, and reporting all need to stay aligned. What I usually handle: - Shopify / Shopify Plus integrations and custom commerce workflows - ERP and CRM syncs: Acumatica, Salesforce, Zoho, HubSpot, SAP-style systems - POS and inventory workflows: Clover, store operations, loyalty, order flows - Laravel/PHP middleware, APIs, webhooks, queues, cron jobs, retries, and logs - Admin dashboards, reporting panels, and operational data models - Production debugging where the issue is hidden across multiple systems Relevant background: - Built and supported systems handling 24k+ products, 3M+ users, and 2,000+ locations - Led technical delivery across teams of 20+ - Worked across Shopify, Shopify Plus, Magento, BigCommerce, Acumatica, Salesforce, Zoho, Clover POS, Laravel, REST/GraphQL APIs, PostgreSQL, MySQL, AWS, Firebase, and payment systems I also take on SaaS MVPs and React Native app work when the project depends on backend architecture, integrations, subscriptions, analytics, or production stability. If your store, ERP, CRM, POS, or internal dashboard is held together by fragile syncs and unclear data flow, I can help trace where it breaks and make the system reliable.

I turn a business process nobody has written down properly into a design an engineer can build — then stay through implementation. The one I point to most: a single sign-on ecosystem I designed and built for 2,600+ users across Java, PHP and .NET. 13+ years, mostly enterprise and public-sector systems. What that has looked like: • Single Sign-On ecosystem (PT Perkebunan Nusantara IV) — initiated and designed the ecosystem where no prior internal effort existed, built the Java EE core myself, and designed the Portal and Access Management components. Two phases, roughly three months, six people. Replaced separate logins for 2,600+ users across Java, PHP, and .NET applications. • Performance management rebuild (PT Perkebunan Nusantara IV) — led a seven-person team rebuilding an appraisal system on Java EE, Service-Oriented Architecture, and SQL Server stored procedures. Four months, around 600 executive users. The data and performance failures reported against the previous version did not recur in the observed appraisal period. • Customs import integration (PT Teknoglobal) — built two Java EE flat-file parsers plus document-validation and multithreaded background-processing services for a national customs system, consuming import and banking data delivered through an IBM MQ messaging layer. I owned those modules; I did not build the messaging infrastructure and I did not lead the wider project. • Mobile content ecosystem, 2023–2026 — architected and led the v2 backend rebuild after the original could not scale past inconsistent data and a schema that resisted new features. Designed the database, coded the core processing, and led a team of QA, mobile, and web developers. A compatibility API let existing clients run against the new backend, so the cutover carried users across without significant disruption. • Most recently — specified and led a C#/.NET 8 WPF refactoring that separated the user interface from background services over gRPC, then built a REST-based Cloud Sync worker linking the desktop client to a Next.js platform. I handed that work over on completion of my scope in July 2026; the client team continues development. Since August 2026 I work independently under my own trade name, currently delivering a landing page and registration flow for a member-based organization (Go, MariaDB). Where I am useful: enterprise integration, single sign-on and access flows, internal tools and workflow systems, procurement and ERP-adjacent processes, legacy modernization, and backend work in Java, C#/.NET, or PHP/Laravel. Where I am not: SAP configuration or ABAP, mobile-first product design, data science, and anything requiring a cloud architecture certification I do not hold. I work to an agreed schedule, put delivery risks in writing early, and tell you when something I designed turns out to be wrong.

What does an Oracle ATG web Commerce specialist do?

An Oracle ATG web Commerce specialist builds and configures online storefronts using the Oracle ATG Web Commerce platform, also known as the Dynamo Application Framework. This role focuses on assembling component-based applications to manage core retail functions like product catalogs, dynamic pricing, and promotional campaigns. The specialist connects these commerce capabilities to external business systems through specific integration frameworks. They also configure administrative interfaces that support customer service operations and daily store management.

  • Assemble and link ATG applications from standard or custom component beans using Nucleus configuration files. This process defines how the application behaves by wiring together Java components and setting their properties in text-based configuration files. The specialist creates these structures to support specific business rules for inventory tracking or order fulfillment without altering the core platform code.
  • Develop repository-backed data structures to store and retrieve commerce domain information such as catalog items and media assets. This work involves defining item descriptors and mapping them to database tables within the Oracle Database environment. The specialist ensures that product details, pricing tiers, and availability status update correctly across the storefront when merchants modify backend records.
  • Create and configure URL generation and page behavior using ATG servlet and droplet-style components. These components control how the web server responds to user requests and dynamically renders content on product pages or shopping carts. The specialist writes logic to handle complex navigation paths and ensures that search results display relevant items based on user queries.
  • Set up and implement commerce web services to enable communication between the ATG platform and third-party systems. This task requires configuring the ATG web services integration framework to exchange data with enterprise resource planning or customer relationship management tools. The specialist tests these connections to verify that order data flows accurately from the website to internal fulfillment centers.
  • Deploy and operate the commerce storefront using Oracle ATG administration and service center interfaces. This responsibility includes monitoring application performance and troubleshooting errors in the Dynamo server logs. The specialist also customizes the Service Center application to help support agents view customer orders and process returns efficiently.
