I am an award-winning and Emmy-nominated multimedia storyteller and an Associate Professor of Practice in the Boston, Massachusetts area. With over 10 years of experience working in multimedia storytelling, primarily in the news industry, I bring organization, passion, and a love of storytelling to every project. I've written for print, digital, social media, video and radio. I am an expert in writing and producing content for the digital age. My writing is clear and concise. I am an Audio Engineer/Mixer and Music Producer with 10+ years of experience. I graduated from Berklee College of Music with a degree in Music Production and Engineering. In my career thus far I have had the opportunity to work on a variety of different projects. I have done audio work for companies like Zildjian, WGBH, BBC World Service and PRI/PRX as well as pieces that have featured for Berklee. Currently, apart from mixing/producing at my studio in Boston MA. I work for The World. I edit and mix the daily edition podcasts as well as perform all the audio related tasks at the newsroom/studio including live broadcast, recording, mixing and audio editing. I take great pride in my work, be it music production or audio engineering. Her two podcasts, which include Runnah about running in her hometown of Falmouth, MA, and her other podcast Into the Fold (A Grishaverse Podcast), are independently produced by herself with her best friend Geoff. By day, she works as a social media manager and also as a registered dietitian. When she’s not walking her dog, podcasting or talking Potter she can be found running. She has run two Boston Marathons, the NYC marathon, the Chicago Marathon, and the Tokyo Marathon, and has her eyes set on the Berlin marathon next. She also has a chronic illness called Alkalizing Spondylosis (see “spondy” above) and is currently on the journey to finding her best treatment plan to combat this condition.
