For me, words are only the juice, the fruit cannot be spoken of. Writing has been my passion since I could pick up a pen. For many years this expressed itself primarily through music and lyrics. As I got older, however, I began to write stories, poems and essays. Over the last few years I have authored two books - fiction and non-fiction. My love of music has never waned and I continue to write, produce and perform my own songs. Although my love of writing lies in its creative freedom, I have a deep interest in style and structure. Rigour and pith should enhance poetic licence, not stifle it. I am always learning, always gathering new tools, and always a beginner. Writing is an extension of my life. My love of philosophy, meditation, spirituality and the essence of things provides a constant flow of creative energy. I spend a lot of time travelling with my girlfriend, two year old son and dog. I love surfing, cooking, and living as freely as possible. For better or worse, I fought formal education as though it was my mortal enemy. Life education, however, I embraced with wide-eyed wonder and still do. This, I feel, has allowed me to discover my own voice and unique knowledge base. To ensure a quick turnaround, do send in the following before we start : - Music/Instrument/Backing Track (in .WAV or .MP3 format) WITH the lead vocal melody (played by a single instrument). - Music/Instrument/Backing Track (in .WAV or .MP3 format) WITHOUT the lead vocal melody. - Specify the tempo/BPM of the track. - PDF/Word Document with lyrics of the entire song. - If there are specific sections to be sung, please highlight in the lyrics document. - Attach a Reference/sample video/audio if there is any need to replicate the vocal style or mood specifically. - A brief note on any particular style/emotion/vocal complexity/vocal simplicity to be followed along with a write up about meaning of the song (in case language used is not english) - Please specify if you need Lead Vocals or Backing Vocals or backing vocal arrangement or all the above done by me, so I can give you a good price. - Any Backing Vocals Singing/Harmony Arrangement OVER the lead vocals sung by me will be an additional charge. - Mention any deadlines you have very clearly and take into account the time for revisions, if any. - Only one revision (post final delivery) is free of charge and any further revisions will be charged per revision. - Once a project is completed by me, you will receive an unedited track with the music for your approval. After your feedback and payment confirmation you will receive the final edited track with the required vocals in .WAV format.
