Highlights of her work to date include Reunification, a feature documentary which won awards at festivals worldwide, one woman feminist thriller The Bellwether, distributed by Giant Pictures and Cardinal XD, arthouse feature 5 South, and 51 States, a short dystopian scifi film for sarangi, electronics and strings. Her music has appeared on the BBC and her work has been mixed in major UK studios such as Warner Brother’s De Lane Lea. She works with major UK music library companies such as West One and BAM and her music has been used across the BBC. She is affiliated with COOL Music and We Are Golden. In February 2023 she won Best Original Score at White Deer Film Festival for silent short film Ghosted. She’s scored two games, both available via Steam. Jo’s work in theatre has included plays with tours around the UK, and runs at both the Brighton and Edinburgh Fringes. Jo has worked in both pre-recorded and live theatre scores. As an orchestrator, Jo has a lot of experience with using Sibelius and scoring for orchestra. She regularly transcribes, orchestrates, and engraves for her clients, many of whom are so satisfied with her work that they become regular clients. Pieces she's orchestrated and engraved are then performed and used worldwide.
