    My goal in life is to create digital and performance-based forms of entertainment to inspire and change the way people think in the most positive way. My investment banker parents told me it takes five years to get good at something and ten years to get great in order to make yourself bankable. Since I beat cancer at 19, I’ve been reading one script a day, composing one song a day, and writing ten pages a day in order to be competent in the entertainment industry ,and I’m still not at the tier I prefer to be. As a way to advance at the same rate of the competition in this fast-paced industry, I have networked myself into freelance occupations with several mentors in business and entertainment. My first mentor was Karen Albert who started “La Mer” for Rexam 40 years ago and worked out of her headquarters in Malibu while running 4 pet care companies with 80 patents and $1M in sales monthly. Her number one rule to me as her assistant was “client comes first” and implemented a business mentality where there is no such thing as a day off. I returned to college at SMC and received an opportunity to work the show “Mandolorian” where Bryce Dallas Howard directed our episodes. The one thing I realized with Howard’s methods in her craft of directing, is she never lost her composure, and the only way to get to her level is to maintain professionalism in all circumstances, even if you don’t want to talk to the 20 year old kid in an alien mask. For the past two years, my best friend and mentor is a 75 year-old man, William Phelps, the co-director (with Randal Kleiser) of “North Shore”, who has guided me through my freelance entertainment work, helping with above and below-the-line relationships. Together we have made one web series, five commercials, three tv pilots (that didn’t take off yet), and we have worked with hundreds of artists throughout Los Angeles county. The freelance experience in this industry with Bill has taught me that there certainly isn’t a face, race, sexuality, age, or any set standards for your co-workers, only the mutual love for the work itself. I used my acquired “client comes first” perspective, hustled every day with a Dallas-Howard ‘maintained composure’ mentality, and utilized it to financially and artistically organize, produce, and execute projects in this industry with perseverance and diversification

My most recent accomplishments include directing the Scooby Doo and Guess Who series at Warner Bros Animation for three seasons and three years, as well as season 2 of Woody Woodpecker cartoons for Universal at Splash Entertainment for release on Youtube. I also directed Wolfboy and the Everything Tree at Bento Box for Apple and worked as a storyboard artist on Trick and Trick Scooby Doo for HBO Max, followed by directing season 2 of the series Harley Quinn for HBO Max at Warner Bros Animation. In 2022, I directed season 3 of Woody Woodpecker at Splash for Universal and worked as a freelance sheet timer on three Justice League movies, Velma, Batman: Caped Crusader, and an Adventure Time movie called Fiona and Cake, all for HBO Max, as well as Netflix’s Big Mouth. I also teach Adobe Flash/Animate and Autodesk Sketchbook Pro and have taught Toon Boom Storyboard Pro for Studio Arts and The Animation Guild.
