Nick Roth has built a successful track record of teaching writing and film studies while maintaining a dedicated artistic practice working continuously in the film and television industry, primarily as a writer but also as an actor, producer, director, and editor in both scripted and documentary. His most notable credits include five years in the writers’ room of hit ABC series American Housewife and writing and directing his debut independent feature, Hanky Panky, which premiered on Apple TV+ and holds a 90% approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes. He has written two movies for Lifetime Network and has sold, optioned, or otherwise developed more than a dozen screenplays and pilots. He is an Adjunct Professor of Cinema and Television Arts at California State University Northridge, and he is repped by Zero Gravity Management.
