I was called down to Paramount off my very first spec script. At the time, Star Trek allowed 50 people a year to come to the William S. Hart building and pitch ideas. To earn that pitch, I beat thousands of other writers with my spec submission. I've been writing ever since. I give seminars at Universities and in Los Angeles for organizations like Colab. I've won pitching contests and excel at synopsis and loglines. I've also produced films for Netflix, Eone, Lionsgate, and MGM. I'm a writer at heart, and because of that I have a Facebook Group called "Screenwriter Networking," with over 70 thousand members. Experienced writers know that writing is not a science, it's an art. You can't rely on structure but it's a wonderful guardrail. Structure is a guide. Your story needs to elicit emotion from the audience. Showrunners and Directors believe they can be writers because they've studied how to follow some "structure recipe". That is only the first step to becoming a writer. Let me show you. There are levels beyond story structure. Call them tools. There's a psychology behind writing. (It was the best of times, it was the worst of times) There's subtext, subverting audience expectation, hooks and cliffhangers, sympathy for characters or the ghosts that haunt them, story plants and payoffs, foreshadowing, dramatic irony, mid-point shift, a time crunch with high stakes, objective correlative and the list goes on. Story creators today seem to have forgotten these tools in favor of a structure recipe. Don't rely on cheap tropes and imitation. Good writing requires just a little insight to achieve much more.

I bring 8 years of experience as a travel agent, 4 years in marketing and graphic design, and 8 years as a professional writer across ghostwriting, articles, fiction, and nonfiction. This unique combination gives me strong real-world insight, creative versatility, and the ability to adapt tone and content for different audiences with ease.
I specialise in clear, engaging, and well-structured writing with a strong focus on accuracy, readability, and consistency—whether I’m creating new content, editing, or refining existing work.
Alongside nonfiction and content writing, I also have a strong background in fiction, particularly contemporary women’s fiction, contemporary romance, Christian romance, billionaire romance, forbidden romance, and Amish romance. I enjoy both building stories from scratch and working from existing plots and character outlines.
I’m known for delivering high-quality work on time, with a strong emphasis on reliability, detail, and fast turnaround without compromising quality.

If you're an author or publisher who needs editing that respects your work, a company that needs accurate, well-presented transcripts, an author, publisher, or business that needs flawless SR-EN or EN-SR translation, or you simply want a human with a strong content-writing background to review AI-generated text, I might be the right person for the job.
Polishing a manuscript and proofreading a business transcript require different skill sets, but I've spent a decade building both. On the literary side, I hold an MA in Philology, Literature, and Literary Theory, and I've spent ten years editing for authors and publishers — developmental editing, line editing, copy editing, proofreading, beta reading, blurbs, and book summaries. Writing hundreds of summaries for Amazon publishers gave me an unusually close read on how successful books are structured and why they work, and years of writing SEO content for tech and language-learning companies gave me a working knowledge of discoverability I still apply when editing.
On the technical side, I've spent the past year and a half as a transcript proofreader and fact-checker for AlphaSights, reviewing AI-generated transcripts of expert conversations across technical and nontechnical fields, against a strict internal style guide. I'm bilingual in English and Serbian and have completed a number of translation, QA, and LLM-training projects in both languages.
I've also spent the last five years working inside AI systems — training, evaluating, and rewriting model outputs for enterprise clients. That gave me a precise eye for what AI-assisted writing looks and sounds like at the sentence level: the false coherence, the hedged phrasing, the subtle flatness careful readers sense even when they can't name it. If your draft needs to sound human (or sound like you), I know how to get it there.
I've been on Upwork for over a decade, completed 100+ projects, and maintain a 100% Job Success Score as a Top Rated freelancer. I take editorial work seriously, and I bring the same rigor to transcripts and translations. I prefer working with clients who care about getting it right.
What I offer:
- Developmental editing, line editing, copy editing, and proofreading for fiction and nonfiction manuscripts
- Editing and humanizing AI-assisted drafts
- Book summaries, blurbs, and critical analysis
- Proofreading, fact-checking, and QA for AI-generated transcripts
- Translation and editing in English and Serbian
- Manuscript formatting

Here to help take your script or idea to the next level!
With a decade’s worth of experience as a script reader for companies such as The Black List, Andrew Lauren Productions, The Donners’ Company, Coverfly, Shore Scripts, and many more, I bring extensive knowledge of scriptwriting to any project.
Working in development has allowed me to understand what makes a project stand out and how to get it to the point of selling.
Whether that be editing your project, providing feedback, or adding my own writing to your idea, I will be happy to be a collaborative partner and add complete professionalism from start to finish.
Having spent a long period of my career in development, I have shifted my focus more toward my own writing. This has allowed me to see tremendous success in my own projects, with my psychological thriller, THRESHOLD, ranking in the top lists on The Black List for the genre. It has received glowing reviews, calling it “hard to put down,” “leaves us on the edge of our seats,” and one reader stated that “Because this script is so well written, it feels as if it could be a strong calling card for the writer.”
Outside of my own writing, I have also helped numerous clients ghostwrite and punch up their scripts. This work has spanned all different genres and mediums, from noir to comedy to thrillers and dramas, including work in TV, Film, Podcasts, and YouTube.
I am a highly adaptable writer and have the right experience to make any project stand out. Feel free to reach out anytime with questions about rate or turnaround times.
Thanks for reading, and I hope to work together soon!
