I am a UK-based author of fiction, currently traditionally published with Scholastic, Chicken House and Hugo Stardust. Creative writing has always been a passion of mine, as an avid reader myself, I have spoken about fiction and the world of publishing for numerous podcasts and media outlets, including Eastern Eye Magazine, Spill the Cha Podcast, The Book Box Club, The Book Chain Project and The Big Kids Book Club Podcast. I have also held a number of creative writing courses and workshops aimed at aspiring writers for UCLAN Publishing, YALC, Hay Festival, The Literary Consultancy, Futurescapes, The English Language Honors Society, NYA Lit Fest and I Am in Print. I was the winner of the Kimberley Chambers Fiction Prize in 2019, organised by Harper Collins, and have provided creative writing mentorship for aspiring writers through the RevPit mentorship scheme, where I assisted in synopsis and query letter writing, alongside beta reading and sensitivity reading after being selected as runner up in their annual Revise and Resub competition in 2019. My first novel was named on Waterstones' Best Books of 2022 list, whilst my second novel was longlisted for the Diverse Book Awards in 2024.
