Thank you for visiting my profile! I am a 30-year old guy graduated from Faculty of Informatics on the European University - Republic of Macedonia, in Skopje, R. of Macedonia. I have been all my life with computers. Started with a Commodore 128D back in the 1989 when my parents brought it from Germany, then got a Pentium I in 1997. Going to High School was the time when I got my first experience in programming. Back then I self-learned Visual Basic 6, made a few mini projects like MP3 player or an Alarm clock. That was the time when I realized that programming is my future job. Back at the University, I had experience with Pascal, C, Java and C# .NET. Java was the platform where for the first time I experienced the real power of the object-oriented programming and the use of relational database management system (MySQL). For the seminar work for the topic “Object-Oriented Programing” I created a project called “Coffee Shop Point-Of-Sale” which included a beautiful design, management of stocks and printing a bill. After finishing the second year at the University, I enrolled for a practice during the summer pause. The practice was in a local company in Skopje named ArtHaus where I was given to create a project called “School for foreign languages” in PHP and MySQL. PHP and the entire web application type of programming was unknown to me at the time. In about one month, I managed to understand the principles of PHP and web programming, do a UML design for the project, understand how CSS and JavaScript works and finally presented the project to the founder of the company. She was satisfied of my work so she offered me part-time job at the company as a junior software developer. Somehow I managed to organize my studies, my part-time job and my other projects at the University (transferred the University web site from classic ASP to PHP, learned the professors and assistants how to use the newly updated web site , developed a student exchange application etc.). It was adapt or die trying. I’ve learned to budget my time and my assets, and most importantly, I’ve learned to be flexible and to get things done. After finishing the University with a score of 9.56 and diploma work named “e-Library” (ASP.NET/MSSQL project), I enrolled in the same company where I worked as a part time job, for a full time job. While my official title at ArtHaus was Junior Software Developer, in reality in some projects I was working like a Project Manager. I created tasks for other developers, manage to talk to the clients, discuss solutions to their requests etc. It was a small company with 15 employees where everyone had to pitch in, and I thrived on the excitement of being involved at every level of almost every project. After the contract at the ArtHaus expired, I returned to my hometown where working under my family company I managed to create some projects for a local companies. All projects were done only by my self (talking with the clients about the requirements, discussing the possible solutions and realizing the projects).
