Entry Level Sales - Business Loan Specialist

Position Description: Our Business Loan Specialist Team is growing! As a Business Loan Specialist you will work closely with small business clients to drive loan originations and support individual and team goals. You will manage a large pipeline of client loan applications throughout the document collection process for our SBA small/large loans. This is a high-impact role that directly supports our mission of providing tailored financing solutions to small businesses across the country. Major Areas of Responsibility: - Handling incoming loan applications from small business clients. - Ensuring all necessary documentation and client information is collected, accurate, and ready for review. - Acting as the main top of funnel point of contact for clients through various stages of the loan process. - Communicating in a timely manner with clients via phone, email, and other channels to request outstanding items. - Building relationships to provide an excellent borrower experience. - Managing and organizing a pipeline of 100+ active applications while maintaining attention to detail and timely follow-ups. - Confidently speak to our multi-product offering - educate and help borrowers understand the best funding option to suit their business needs with the goal of handing them off to our specialized sales teams who take them through to funding. - Providing front-line feedback from clients to help improve processes and refine our product offerings in the dynamic SMB lending landscape. Qualifications for Success: - Fluency in professional and conversational English (Verbal & Written) - 6+ months of sales or similar experience - Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling sensitive client data - Ensure reliable and consistent attendance, logging in at the designated start time each day - Able to demonstrate a growth mindset through adaptability, transparency and a continuous feedback loop - Thrive in a fast-paced, metric & results-driven environment - See challenges as opportunities, adaptable to change - Ability to prioritize and operate with a sense of urgency - Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude - Must be able to work between 9am – 6pm EST & committing 40 hours a week
