Our Sales organization is made up of account teams aligned around the customer journey (including outside of Sales!) which create an interactive system of support both for each other and for our customers.

Our Business Development Representatives enable businesses to get their best work done by reaching out to stakeholders in Marketing, IT/Engineering, & Customer Support teams and stoking their interest in learning more about Upwork.
Our Account Executives captain the full sales cycle: prospecting, discovery, demo, contract negotiation, and closing deals.
Our Solutions Architects design Enterprise solutions, methodologies and processes for customer rollouts and customer expansion, partnering with AEs and generally act as subject matter experts in our Enterprise product.
Our Account Managers manage portfolios of Enterprise customers, cultivate new business from existing clients and actively seek expansion opportunities to grow overall client revenue through executive engagement.
Our Strategic Account Directors develop plans and strategies for expanding existing accounts within our Fortune 100 customer base and achieving sales goals.
Our Enterprise Program Success team provides continued resources for our users and partners with Talent Solutions to showcase the best talent, fill the role, and provide economic opportunities to our global talent experts.
Our Talent Solutions team provides the Talent Services and Program Management to support our Enterprise and high value clients. Our Talent Services teams focus on building Upwork’s talent pool, including talent sourcing, acquisition, and vetting (including the Expert Vetted Talent program). Our Program Management team ensures great experiences for High Value Marketplace, Enterprise, and Managed Services clients by consulting on jobs, matching talent, designing workflow, and (in Managed Services) managing projects from end to end.
