I am a native English speaker from the United States, but speak and write Spanish and Italian fluently. My bachelor's degree is in Spanish, Secondary Education, and Theatre from Central College in Pella, Iowa. Following graduation, I worked in Italy for six months and have devoted many hours to refining my Italian language skills over the past ten years. I have been a high school Spanish teacher since 2013. I also have my CERTIFIED HEALTHCARE INTERPRETER™ certification for Spanish-English, and worked as a medical interpreter at Children's Hospital of Wisconsin from 2017-2019. In the past eight years, I have completed a variety of educational translations, both English-Spanish and Spanish-English, for the high school where I teach. Additionally, I successfully completed a series of technical translations from English-Spanish and English-Italian for a travel adapter company in 2014.
