I always loved to sketch and draw as a child but I actually started doing graphic design because I was broke! I was a college student running a band, and didn't have money to hire a graphic designer for our website cd covers, etc., so I had to figure it out on my own. Then some other people saw my designs and asked if I could design their band's logos and art. Later in life, I was hired by a musician who owned a autobody shop as their full time graphic design artist. He kept telling me, you should be running your own business. You would make way more than I can pay you. So I took his advice and started Freedmind Design eight months ago. I have done ten major projects since I left the autobody shop. Projects including websites, logo design and social media maintenance for varied clients such as motivational speakers, IT Management, an acoustical panel company, realtors, and, of course, more musicians. My biggest strengths are focus and organization. I was raised in a home by a military father and so I know what discipline is. I know how to get a project done and I can take criticism well.
