My name is Renato Nogueira d’Silva. I am a video editor and colorist with a strong storytelling focus, shaping projects through editing, colour grading and sound design. I also bring complementary skills in visual effects, motion graphics, animation and sound design. I have been working in post-production houses, TV Networks and as a freelancer for over fourteen years. I have a wide range of experience in many formats including fiction (TV series and feature films), short documentaries, corporates, promo, news and social media. My technical skills, storytelling and creativity produce high quality cuts and stylistic color gradings.

I am a feature film editor and VFX supervisor who has led post-production on 6+ professionally funded European feature films, serving as both main editor and VFX lead. My work spans the full post-production pipeline — from structural edit refinement and performance shaping to complex compositing, matchmoving, cleanup, and final delivery-ready finishing. I combine narrative sensitivity with technical precision, ensuring that performances, pacing, and emotional clarity remain intact while invisible visual effects integrate seamlessly into the cinematic language of the film. Alongside long-form narrative projects, I collaborate on trailers, commercial campaigns, and high-end VFX-driven content where storytelling strength and polished execution are critical. My focus is always on delivering cohesive, production-ready results that elevate the overall project.

I'm a narrative editor, colorist and sound mixer, based in Portugal, with several years of experience specialising in Commercial, Documentary and Narrative Films. Proficient in tools like Avid Media Composer, DaVinci Resolve and Nuendo, I focus on editing, color grading and sound mixing to bring out the best of each film.
