I'm Adrian, a documentary director, producer and editor based in Bucharest. I produced a feature documentary about a female Ukrainian soldier, which just won Best Film and Best Editing at its world premiere at DocuDays UA 2026. On that film I also cut the development edits and trailers that secured its international financing, and I shaped the edit throughout, working closely with the editing team from first assembly to final cut. Before that, I co-directed a feature about people born in the shadow of Chornobyl, which premiered in competition at IDFA and went on to win awards at festivals across Europe, including Best Film and Best Director at Odesa IFF, Best Directing at Astra Film Festival, and the FIPRESCI prize at Transilvania IFF, among others, alongside three nominations at the Gopo Awards, Romania's national film awards. My first film aired on HBO Max and national television, and my new film was sold to German public broadcaster ZDF ahead of its premiere. I have over a decade of experience across the full production pipeline, from script and pitch development through to broadcast delivery. On Upwork I specialize in video editing and sound design with a deep focus on storytelling. I don't just cut footage. I think about structure, story logic, and what an audience actually needs to feel something. My focus is long-form, story-driven content: documentaries, interview-based series, corporate narratives, and podcast editing.
