Hi, I'm George, a full stack software engineer with 4+ years of professional experience based in the San Francisco Bay Area. Things I recently worked on: - Frontend web development at Virufy, a medtech AI non-profit. I developed the marketing web app from the ground up to support internationalization and deployment to Github Pages using Next.js. I also transformed Figma designs into responsive web pages using React, Typescript, and Tailwind CSS. I was formerly at: - Tigo Energy, a mid-size renewable energy company, modernizing the tech stack for their flagship software product, Energy Intelligence (EI), designing and implementing new classes and schemas for their auditing tool using PHP and SQL, and writing PHP scripts to migrate data from Postgres to Clickhouse, which has shown to improve query performance by up to 10x. - Northwestern Mutual, a massive financial services company, building internal web search tools with NestJS, React, Typescript, and Apollo GraphQL to fetch insurance policy data in real-time from various data sources (ie.
