I am a native of Greenville, SC. After receiving an Associate’s Degree from Valley Forge Military College, I graduated from The Ohio State University in 2015. I earned a BA in History with a research distinction. I also have a Master of Education from the University of South Carolina (2017). I recently completed a second Master’s in Military History from Norwich University in Vermont. As a historian, I have focused on ancient military history, but I have also done special studies in Byzantine history, World War I and II, and Asia. My major GPA was 3.7, and I am a Phi Alpha Theta History Honor Society member. I also have an Associate of Arts degree from Valley Forge Military College in Philadelphia, PA. I have a wide array of travel experiences ranging from Asia (India, China, Thailand, Cambodia, and Vietnam) to the Mediterranean (Greece, Italy, Turkey) and Europe (England, France, Germany, Switzerland, and Austria). I have worked on a Greek archeological dig, and a buildings survey in Rome. I recently completed an internship in the International Studies Department at Presbyterian College in Clinton, SC.
