But the one thing I know I'm good at is figuring out how a product should work. I help SaaS and FinTech founders turn good ideas into products people understand quickly enough to actually use, and valuable enough to pay for. UI/UX is as much about psychology as it is about design. That's why I know for a fact that most design problems start long before the first screen is designed I've learned this after working on products at very different stages. Sometimes there's a founder with an idea that needs to become an MVP. Sometimes there's a SaaS product that has grown complicated over time. Sometimes the product already works, but nobody can quite explain why users keep getting stuck. In all three cases, the temptation is usually the same: open Figma and start designing. I usually try not to. The interesting part of UI/UX Design, at least for me, is figuring out what needs to happen before the interface exists. Who is using this? What are they trying to do? What does the business need from them? Where does the User Flow break down? What information actually matters? That's where UX Research, User Flows, Wireframing and User Experience Design come in. Figma comes later. And I've seen what that thinking can do beyond the interface itself.
