I wrote oxide.js which is a backend framework for Node that's published on npm, because I wanted something cleaner than Express. I built an HTTP server from raw TCP sockets in Rust because I wanted to know what's actually happening under the hood. Same reason I built a shell and a CPU emulator. That kind of low-level understanding helps a lot when debugging real production issues. On the frontend I work with React and Next.js mostly.
