In 2014 I met chemists from Moscow University and they hired me as a designer for their company Lumiprobe. We had a great relationship, but I was looking for something more, both financially and creatively. The guys at Lumiprobe were sympathetic and introduced me to the provost of MSU. As a consequence, I was hired as a designer for the NAUKA0+ Science Festival. In 2016 I became the senior designer of the Festival. We had a great progressive team, we held many events not only for NAUKA0+, but also for Moscow State University. The most interesting starts in 2019, when UNESCO announced the 150th anniversary of the Periodic Table of Chemical Elements. I was appointed chief designer for the event and, after the successful Opening Ceremony in Paris, throughout 2019 I did the design for more than 50 exhibitions in about 10-15 different countries, all the way up to the closing ceremony in Tokyo. I did everything from the 200 sqm building to the badges and signage. My team and I worked 14-16 a day, it was very hard, but it was a great experience. My teamwork skills, work speed, and stress tolerance went to a whole new level. Since 2020, I continued my work at MSU and UNESCO. We held many international events, created tons of presentations and reports. In 2021 I designed for the Mendeleev International Prize in Paris. I designed a medal for this prize, which is the second most important after the Nobel Prize (they told me so, but I doubt it🙂 ). In 2022 we are attacked by russia, so I was left without a home and a job. My family and I (Me, my beautiful wife, two kids and a big white fluffy dog) lived in the south of the country where the fighting started. We managed to get out of there, now we are safe and I am open to new accomplishments 🙂
