I do two kinds of Webflow work: building sites from scratch, and taking over sites someone else built to improve and maintain them. A build usually starts with a designer's Figma file. My ideal setup is a good designer on a site that's more complex than usual. They design it, I handle the parts that are hard to build. I'm a Webflow developer with a background in vanilla HTML, CSS and JavaScript, so when something can't be done in Webflow natively, I can build it: API integrations, calculators, filters, custom interactions. And I structure the CMS so your marketing team can run the site afterwards without calling a developer every week. I'm not a designer myself. I have the fundamentals, and a lot of experience with both good and bad designs. I can see and fix design issues and make the simple calls, but I've never been a good creative. I'll tell you when a decision should come back to you. My biggest build is CARTO.
