I turn ESP32 ideas into boards you can actually manufacture. Schematic, PCB layout, production files, firmware. If you have a concept, a half-finished design, or a prototype that does not work, I can take it to a product that ships. What I do Hardware: schematic design and PCB layout in KiCad and EasyEDA, DRC clean Gerbers, BOM and Pick-and-Place ready for JLCPCB, AC/DC power circuits, battery and LiPo charging, sensor integration, thermal and low-power design. Firmware: ESP32 and ESP32-S3 in ESP-IDF and Arduino, LVGL touch interfaces, MQTT, BLE, Wi-Fi provisioning, OTA updates, deep sleep for battery products, payment integration. Cloud side when you need it: MQTT broker, database, and a web dashboard so the device is useful outside the lab. I work in your files, not only mine. Send me a KiCad project and you get a KiCad project back, with the libraries and footprints in place. Same for EasyEDA. If you need to move a design from one to the other, I can do that too, including symbol and footprint cleanup so the netlist survives the trip. Delivered 220V smart relays, environmental monitoring boards, sonar driver modules, vending machines and payment terminals, hydroponic and greenhouse controllers, USB-C rechargeable LED products, coin-cell LCD instruments, camera boards for remote monitoring, DMX controllers for cinema equipment. How I work I ask questions before I draw anything, because most board problems come from a wrong assumption, not a wrong footprint. You see the schematic before I start layout. You get documentation with pinouts, connector tables, and assembly notes, not just files. And I stay available during bring-up, since that is where the real issues appear. I also take over broken designs. Several clients came to me with a board that did not power up or a regulator wired wrong, and left with a working revision. Tell me what you are building and what it has to do. I will tell you honestly whether I am the right engineer for it, and what it will realistically take.

I act as your Product Owner — on your side, not the dev team's. I take your business vision and turn it into technical approach. Then I control that dev team does what is needed and with optimal time & cost. You save time & money and get what you really need. You shouldn't have to learn how developers think. Or manage them every day. Or fight over scope and price for weeks. You have a business to run. I own the product side so you don't have to. ◆ 𝗕𝗮𝗰𝗸𝗴𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱 20+ years in software development. Hands-on as a full stack developer and AI developer. Strong background as a Data Architect & AI Engineer especially in AR/VR, Warehouse & IoT systems. ◆ 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝗚𝗲𝘁 ✔️ Your business goal, turned into a clear plan the team can build. ✔️ A product that matches what you need — not just what's in the brief. ✔️ One person who talks to your full stack and AI developers for you. ✔️ A team accountable to the result, not just to closing tickets. ✔️ Your time back, to focus on the business. ✔️ Specially for industrial AR/VR projects I have CAD to 3D converter create 3D objects quickly. ◆ 𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝗜'𝗺 𝗗𝗶𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗻𝘁 A project manager explains why the team is late. I do the opposite. I push the team. I ask hard questions. I keep every task tied to your goal. I don't join your dev team. That's the point. Sitting inside the team, anyone starts defending it. From your side, I stay focused on you. ◆ 𝗪𝗵𝘆 𝗧𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗠𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘀 You know what your product should do. Turning that into something a dev team can build is where most projects get stuck. You talk to developers. They ask for details you don't have. The estimate keeps growing. Weeks pass. Nothing ships. Or the team builds — and what comes back is not what you pictured. ◆ 𝗧𝘄𝗼 𝗪𝗮𝘆𝘀 𝗜 𝗖𝗮𝗻 𝗛𝗲𝗹𝗽 ✔️ Product Owner (most clients need this). You have a business goal but not a clear product yet. I shape the product to reach the goal, then lead the team to build it. ✔️ Business Analyst (if you already know the business side). You know exactly what you want. I write it down properly — clear requirements, user stories, a scope your team can estimate and build without guessing. The difference is simple: a business analyst writes down what you ask for. A Product Owner proposes what to build to hit your goal. We start by finding out which one fits you. ◆ 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘁 𝗪𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗮 𝗦𝗵𝗼𝗿𝘁 𝗗𝗶𝘀𝗰𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆 𝗖𝗮𝗹𝗹 In 30 minutes I'll tell you: ✔️ what your product really needs ✔️ where the risks are ✔️ how to get to a working first version Before you commit to a full development.

How to Hire Top IoT Specialists

How to hire an IoT specialist

If you’re creating a fully-fledged distributed IoT service, there are many angles to consider: development of the embedded device itself, the IT and networking services that power it, data and analytics, and design and development of an integrated UI (e.g., a mobile app to control your home’s thermostat).

To hire the right IoT specialist, you’ll need to

  • Choose your hardware platform (i.e., your processing board)
  • Develop the application software, including any back-end and networking support
  • Create the integrated UI
  • Develop the APIs, beacons, web sockets, and procedure calls that enable the high-level communications that occur between devices
  • Establish security, data storage, and analytics measures

To get started, you’ll need a platform for the product development team to develop and launch the product on, then consider both hardware and software systems. An IoT pro can help recommend the kind of power and operating system you’ll need on the hardware side that’s appropriate for your device or prototype.

IoT programming languages used to be unique to embedded systems, but now this software uses more common languages that web developers already know and use. IoT programming languages range from general-purpose languages like C++ and Java to embedded-specific choices like Google’s Go language or Parasail. Each offers a few advantages and disadvantages. Your developer will be able to advise you which is best.

Internet of Things FAQs

Frequently asked questions

What is IoT development?

Internet of Things (IoT) development projects are everywhere, and affordable, advanced technology is the driving force behind this fast-growing phenomenon. Smaller, more accessible hardware and the flexibility to use common programming languages make it easier than ever before to develop these embedded IoT systems. From hobbyists programming their own single-board computers to companies developing devices we can control from our mobile devices, the IoT is rapidly expanding.

Why hire IoT specialists?

Whether you’re creating a quick prototype or an entire IoT-powered business application, you’ll need an IoT developer to help with the data, hardware, and software considerations of your IoT initiative. From a development standpoint, creating IoT devices hinges on embedded programming. There are both software and hardware angles to consider when creating an IoT prototype—the small computer embedded in the object or device, and the software that makes it run. As mentioned above, this includes things like wearables, connected home devices, circuit design, GPS programming, 3D design, and more.

Fortunately, many of these software systems and software development kits (SDKs) now use programming languages and operating systems that engineers already use for mobile and web development, which opens the field up to many more developers.
